Mia's Baptism

Mia was baptized on Sunday, July 20th, 2008. This is a great picture of her with Gran outside the church. Her hair is a bit of a mess as this was after the ceremony. When that water was poured over her head, she made the worst face I have ever seen, lol. She was very tired and irritable, but all in all it was a great day. We had a lot of family and friends attend which was awesome. We all then traveled back to our house for a small party. It turned out nice. It was too hot outside so everyone was packed in the house which was a little hectic. Mia received alot of wonderful gifts that we are thankful for. We feel very lucky to have so many people who care about her. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Megan were there to accept responsibility of Godparents.
Last week was her 9 month appointment with Dr. Dan. She weighed in at 21.8 pounds and was 30" long! Still off the charts on height....she is the length of a 14 month old! I am still clueless as to where she is getting it. lol. Dr. Dan is so good with Mia, he sang her 3 or 4 songs and played his guitar again which she absolutly loves. She ever grabbed her moracca and started playing it along with him, it was the cutest thing.
